Prayer Request: LIFE SUPPORT (Please Reblogg)

Pam Correa ’s mother is in the hospital and on life support. I BEG for everyone reading this to please PRAY on behalf of Pam’s mother. We don’t know how much longer she has but Pam isn’t quit ready to say good bye yet and would like just a little more time with her mother this side of heaven. Please pray to God through His Son Jesus Christ and ask that Pam’s mother be given just a bit more time for Pam and her family to say one last long good bye. PRAYER IS POWER

If we are seeing through the eyes of God…

If we are seeing through the eyes of God we will offend both non-believers and often other believers. Just the act of not participating in their lifestyle and not communicating in their manner makes us stand out to them. Our views about issues (news events of the day; social issues; political issues; our moral and ethical stands, etc.) are often at odds with even those we most love. To some it is not so much our religious nature that they are offended by but it is by our not participating in the things that would offend our Lord that they have no such qualms about where the divide occurs. Faith leads us to places others dare not go; always has and always will. Faith does not look back at what must be left behind but forward to what God has in store. Sometimes friendships are strained or lost but such is the cost of trustin…g the One who beckons us to follow. Who would lose what he has unless he was assured that going another way would result in “great success”. Faith is not driven by success but by loyalty to the Person of Christ. Such a life lived will hear Him say, “well done my good and faithful servant” regardless of the lack of earthly success accomplished. Faith has everything to do with a working out of our salvation and sanctification (ways God has set us apart to be His own). Faith is the means whereby we reach out and grasp the hem of His garment (the Grace of God) and hang on for all we are worth. It is faiths grasp on the Grace of God (Jesus Himself) that will lead us home to glory to be with our Lord forever and in the end isn’t that what real success is all about.
